The Barn at Lloyd’s Dairy is part of a functioning farm (that also hosts a haunted house in October!), and it was the perfect setting for Stephany & Paul’s rustic wedding this weekend. The light turquoise in Stephany’s cowboy boots matched her bridesmaids’ dresses perfectly, and the fact that she wore cowboy boots with her wedding dress matched the vibe of the Barn at Lloyd’s Dairy just as perfectly.
Everything came together wonderfully for these two thanks to the help of their awesome wedding team:

And now, what you really came for – a sneak peek at the day:
Before she got in the chair for hair & makeup by The Beauty Tribe, Stephany spent some time checking in as the barn got set up by the Knot Your Average Events team. Then, when Flowers by Gary arrived, Stephany was over the moon excited about the floral arrangements. Keep an eye out for the flowers everywhere (including in Stephany’s hair)!
Although she didn’t have a first look with Paul, Stephany did want a first look with her dad, and his reaction was so touching.
Meanwile, Paul was hanging out at the couple’s house just around the corner in Mebane, where his family, including Jackson the dog, kept him company. You can tell the tie colors are a favorite, since they match the couple’s bedroom walls!
Before Paul headed to the church for the ceremony, he swung by the Barn at Lloyd’s Dairy for a first touch with Stephany. He brought the adorable Jackson with him, so Stephany could get some photos with her other main man.
The bride and groom and their attendants looking all ready for the ceremony:
Onto the ceremony, which was held at First Baptist Church in Mebane.
You all already know how much I love color, so this stained glass was perfection. I’m learning to embrace some more black and white images too though. This one of the newlyweds through the stairs seemed a lot more powerful in black and white.
After some portraits at the Church, we met back up with the wedding party outside the Barn at Lloyd’s Dairy for some group photos. Thanks for having fun with me y’all!
There were those cowboy boots! And look how well they match the decor all set up inside for the reception.
After dinner, but before toasts and dancing, Paul & Stephany snuck away with John and I for some blue hour portraits.
Both Paul & Stephany’s dads are named Ron. And they both gave great toasts that had the couple grinning ear to ear. Those smiles stayed on their faces through their first dance too.
Jason from Stylus SE DJ got the party going after the couple’s first dance and then entertained everyone by interviewing the four couples who lasted the longest during the anniversary dance. The winners had been married for 50 years and of course had some hilarious advice for the newlyweds.
Quick break from party time for cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and parent dances…
…now back to more dancing!
And ending the night with a glow stick exit. Magical! Thanks Paul & Stephany, and congratulations again 😀
