Liz & Brett – Birmingham, Alabama Engagement Photography Session

YES YES YES you can bring your puppy to your engagement photo session! Engagement photos should be all about the things that make the couple happy, and for Brett and Liz, that includes their precious vizsla pup, Macy. John and I drove out to visit them in Birmingham to get some photos in their natural habitat (i.e. running trails). I promise I will blog their Maine destination wedding soon too, but here are some of my faves of these two marathoners from their Alabama engagement photography session:

Like a great sister-in-law, Liz follows Kivus & Camera on instagram. As soon as she saw this photo of Bogue she started training Macy for something similar. Don’t worry, it’s not a dock over water (bench over dirt path) and Liz’s hand is just out of frame. 

After we spent the morning following them in their workout gear (since they both run *fast* marathons), Liz & Brett dressed up a little for some golden hour photos. Look at this freaking gorgeous sunset over the Birmingham skyline. Can’t wait to visit these guys in May and see more of Birmingham!

Anyway, we also caught a minor league baseball game and some fireworks while we were hanging with them! Great weekend, great friends 😀
