Stephenie & Matt’s Durham NC Winter Wedding

You already know how much we love the Cotton Room in the winter time – the decor is perfect and the bricks are just the right kind of cozy for the Durham NC winter wedding season. Stephenie & Matt fell in love with it too and knew it was the venue for them! These two have been together for over a decade (and you’re gonna be like what? they don’t look old enough for that!) but what stole my heart was that they met while working together at a movie theater! Stephenie loves to dance and Matt loves the Red Sox, so you know this blog post is gonna have a little of both!

How pretty and perfect are these details?

Stephenie was pretty & perfect too! And then Wedded Kiss glammed her up for the big day.

Matt got ready downstairs in the Bull Durham Suite.

While Stephenie was up in the Magnolia Suite (where that awesome blue-green and gold wallpaper is)

They both headed outside for a first look and I love how Stephenie got Matt’s attention to turn him around!

Back inside in front of the fireplace and Christmas trees for the ceremony.

At the reception, there were two cakes!!! Double the fun, double the delicious! And that Fenway Park one looks amazing!!!

I love when the bride dominates the dance floor!

and the kiddos too!

These two had a private last dance as their guests were getting lined up for the sparkler exit and I wholeheartedly approve of this up and coming tradition. One more moment for the two of you to soak in the love and memories.
