Pullen Park engagement – Alexia & Brad
Alexia & Brad are getting married in New Orleans, but wanted to do engagement photos with me here in Raleigh. We met up at Pullen Park on a hot summer day after having had two other dates rained out. And when I say rained out, I mean RAINED out – like would have been worried about my gear and visibility rained out. We were starting to think the session would never happen.
I photographed Alexia’s sister Sara’s wedding years ago, and it was great to see her again, and meet her lovely fiancé Brad. I also got to meet their senior pup Lucy who hung for the first 10 minutes before waiting in the shade with Alexia’s parents so she didn’t have to walk all around Pullen Park in the summer heat.
The first rained out date had been in the spring, since we were hoping for blooms. Luckily, there was still some color by the time the weather and our schedules aligned in July.
