Click the Categories Below to Check out or favorite raleigh wedding vendors

If you're checking out Kivus & Camera, you've already found the best Raleigh wedding photographers available (I might be biased!), but we'd love to help you round out your team so your wedding day is as stress-free and FUN as possible.

We only refer tried and true professionals that we've legitimately enjoyed working with or whose work we admire. These people know weddings and they know how to serve couples with all their heart.

Finally, all of these amazing Raleigh wedding vendors happily serve the LGBTQ+ community because we believe that love is love.

Our Favorite Raleigh Wedding Vendors

Aneesa & her team at Harmony Weddings are a literal dream. These Raleigh wedding planners all have the most genuine smiles and the most calming presence. And they make it a point to make sure every single person at the wedding is having a good time. When Harmony is on board, I know the wedding day will be fun and as stress-free as humanly possible!

Is the amount of waste produced by the wedding industry concerning to you? Check out Raleigh wedding planners Emily Katherine Events! She is at the top of the game when it comes to helping couples plan sustainable weddings. She's also got a great touch for helping couples incorporate unique personality touches. And she's super sweet!

I've had the opportunity to work with a couple different Raleigh wedding planners from C&D Events and everyone on the team has been so kind and organized. Making a New Year's Eve wedding run smoothly can be tough, but Kelsy with C&D rocked it.

I've only worked with Events by Emily once so far, but within just a few minutes, I knew I wanted to work with her again. She's focused and on top of every little detail on the wedding day. And she's quick to jump in and help however she can.

Stephanie with Beauty & The Budget Events is newer to the Raleigh wedding planning industry, but she is making quite a splash! We've worked several weddings together now, and I just get more and more impressed. She's a great fit for the relaxed, nerdy couples that are so often drawn to us at Kivus & Camera.

Erica from Folie à Deux Events introduced me to Bridechilla, so she'll always be one of my favorite Raleigh wedding vendor friends. And she's a great fit for Bridechillas who are looking for a Raleigh wedding planner to help them plan a little more offbeat wedding.

The first Raleigh wedding DJ I've got for you is Brian from McSound Productions, and he was the DJ at our wedding! I think one of the most important things a DJ needs to be able to do is read the room to help get the party going, and that's like Brian's second language. He's also the perfect balance of funny and professional if he's got the mic on the wedding day.

Eric with All Around Raleigh DJ is one of the most welcoming people I've met in the North Carolina wedding industry. He has a way of making everyone feel like they are his top priority. He's also got a good eye for hiring and managing a team so you can't really go wrong with having these guys as your Raleigh wedding DJs. The signature microphone is also pretty cool.

Bunn DJ Company might be the name you hear most often when asking for Raleigh wedding DJs. Joe has developed an army of awesome DJs. We haven't had the chance to work with everyone, but the ones we have worked with have made sure the dance floor is going all night!

I feel like something that sets the Spin NC DJs apart is their style. These guys are just cool. You know what I mean? And obviously professional and all that jazz too, but cool is the icing on the cake.

Nerdy Kivus & Camera couples listen up. Jason and I first bonded talking Star Wars and this guy knows his stuff. He also knows DJ stuff and particularly Raleigh wedding DJ stuff, so Stylus Events is a great team to have running the music for your awesome nerdy wedding reception.

For Raleigh wedding bands, we love the agency Eastcoast Entertainment (especially Nightyears, Liquid Pleasure, and Rev. O and the Barnburners)

And last but not least, if you are wanting some gorgeous instrumentals for your Raleigh wedding ceremony or cocktail hour, I can't recommend Udeshi Hargett or Arioso Strings highly enough.

But wait, We want a Raleigh Wedding band

And what about the ceremony...

The officiant is one of the two most critical ingredient of a wedding day. After all, you can't married without (a) someone to marry and (b) someone to do the marrying.

Don't just hire anyone to be your Raleigh wedding officiant though! This person will stand in front of you and all your friends and family and talk about the two of you and your marriage. Good Raleigh wedding officiants will also help you construct a ceremony that is meaningful and memorable. Do your research on this and find someone you and your future spouse connect with.  These are some Raleigh wedding officiants I've had the pleasure to work with and each one presides over beautiful ceremonies that suit the individual couple.

Hair & Makeup is not my expertise. I don't personally wear makeup all that often and get overwhelmed walking into Sephora. But these Raleigh wedding hair & makeup teams are all rockstars. Your face will be in good hands and you'll have that perfect updo or boho braids or beachy waves. You'll feel amazing. One thing that people don't always realize: Good hair & makeup teams get booked up just as early as good photographers and planners. Don't leave this to the last minute!!!

Y'all. I don't have anything special to say here. I know next to nothing about flowers. I can tell you if I think a particular floral display or wedding bouquet looks pretty.

I can tell the difference between a rose and a carnation.

That's it. That's my floral knowledge.

But I do know that if you're looking for a Raleigh wedding florist, these great teams will help you out, and I promise they know way more than I do.

A note on these. Video is a somewhat complicated thing for me to refer because I really only want to send my couples to video teams that I've genuinely enjoyed working side by side with on a wedding day. There are plenty of other Raleigh wedding videographers that have phenomenal reputations, but I haven't had the chance to directly work with them yet. Photographers and videographers should be working together without friction on wedding days, so for me to want to refer a particular team, I need to (a) know that they produce good work AND (b) know that they are kind and professional not just to couples and wedding guests but to photographers and other vendors as well.

I know from firsthand experience that the Raleigh wedding videographers listed above are all team players and are respectful professionals that are also legitimately fun to work with.

I don't have a lot here, because I rarely work directly with these vendors, but I love Revelry + Heart's invitation suites and art, Cute Buttons Gifts & Paper does invitations as well, and I know CE Rental Raleigh and Southern Vintage Table have always been super great to work with.

But mostly, ask our awesome friends listed in the planner section.
Those Raleigh wedding planners know ALL the best places to get awesome decor and will know what inventory best suits your vision and budget.

Want the traditional wedding dress experience? Gilded Bridal is the Raleigh wedding dress boutique for you. They've got tons of gorgeous gowns and a range of price points, usually starting around $1500

Uniquely. U is in Holly Springs, but still counts as one of my favorite Raleigh wedding attire shops. Raven is so sweet and awesome and stocks the most unique (hence the name) and truly fun wedding dresses. She's also got plenty of budget options because she stocks new and consignment dress.

Want somewhere local with fun and unique options for wedding party dresses? Look no further than Bella Bridesmaids for your Raleigh bridesmaid dress shopping!

In need of "menswear"? Check out Ticknors. They'll do custom suiting for men and women! They designed Mary's awesome look for her and Danielle's wedding.

As I mentioned above, there are lot of good online options for certain things, but we have seen grooms and groomsmen experience issues specifically with online rentals. One wedding party had issues with both shirts and ties (sizing and color), but the day before the wedding they went to Bernard's Formalwear and Bernard's saved the day. So that may be a good place to start if you want to stay local anyway.

There are tons of great online options for wedding attire, from BHLDN to The Black Tux to Menguin to Azazie, but I wanted to feature my favorite local Raleigh wedding vendors on this page, so here are some hometown clothiers!
