Kreativ Summit, Orlando, FL

Heya, your favorite Raleigh Wedding Photographers went to the Kreativ Summit last month and it was awesome! I’m a firm believer in continuing education and finding new sources of inspiration and guidance, and this conference did not let me down. Kreativ featured some of the best photographers in the game, many of whom I’ve followed and admired for a long time. Here’s some of what I shot during guided shoots at the conference.

The image I shot above was envisioned by David Mendoza III. The next image shows what the scene looked like, and then you can see David moving in to create some more romantic, close-up portraits. Our models for this session were the incredible Kayla & Michael Longshore, who are stunt performers and all around awesome folk.

After shooting in the hotel lobby, David moved us all outside, where we spent time looking for light to work with after dark.

I couldn’t resist breaking out my flash for a nighttime dance.

We ended the nighttime session with some silhouettes in front of this awesome blue light wall at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in downtown Orlando.

I didn’t shoot that much during Jason’s session, but here’s a few, mostly behind the scenes.

This next image is taken by shooting through the little holes you see in the staircase that everyone above is peering through.

The last styled shoot I did at Kreativ Summit was with Tonie Christine, and the models were Sidney Bakken (solo) and Jacob & Kayla (couple). The florals you see (including the awesome hat decor) were from Baug-haus Shop.
