Love is fun & colorful.
Your wedding photos should be too.
Our second Murphey School wedding in the time of COVID! The Old Murphey School is actually a perfect spot for a COVID wedding because there’s plenty of outdoor space for distancing, and you can do your ceremony up on the stage like Sarah & Abe did, for even more spreading out.

Without further ado, a preview of Sarah & Abe’s wedding day.
These succulents did double duty as place cards and wedding favors. And make sure you get a good look at what those place cards say. Does Maru mean anything to you? If it does, congratulations, you’re an internet person like me! Stay tuned for more amazingness. If it doesn’t, click here to get to know your meme.
And let’s give some love to Sarah’s shirt! I’m sure she knew where here towel was at all times Saturday. If you don’t follow those references, then my friend, let me introduce you to a delightful read.
Real friends paint your toenails on your wedding day!
Once they were dressed and masked up, Sarah & Abe headed outside for a first look.
I love a sneaky photo bomb during the first look!
I also love the detail in Sarah’s train AND in Abe’s awesome shoes.
Back inside, the wonderful Carly presided over the wedding ceremony up on stage
They removed their masks & kissed and now they’re married!! The mask removal is an important new part of marriage traditions.
But now it’s time for a wedding reception. The sun came in so pretty through the Murphey School windows, lighting up the internet cat tables. Here we’ve got Hover Cat and Cheezburger Cat (my personal favorite internet cat), but others present included Ceiling Cat, Long Cat, and Chemistry Cat. Definitely a good time.
Sarah & Abe had a costume change to get a little more comfortable for the party. You gotta love a shimmery dress and a Hawaiian print shirt.
After parent dances and speeches, the dueling pianos started! What a fun idea for a wedding!! It definitely seemed to get people twirling on the floor 🙂
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Sarah & Abe snuck out for a merry go round ride (and some more couple’s portraits of course)
A last dance surrounded by your people is a pretty great way to cap off a wedding!
… and a ribbon wand exit never hurts either.
Congrats Sarah & Abe!! I hope your day felt every bit as amazing as these images convey!
