You’ve booked a boudoir session. YAY!
Now let’s talk about what to bring to your boudoir photo session!!
If you want, we can absolutely do nude portraits, and sheet sets.
But in addition to your gorgeous bod… you should bring a few outfits to your boudoir session.
Okay, but what sort of outfits should you bring for boudoir?
It doesn’t have to be lingerie.
Let me say that again: it doesn’t have to be lingerie.
You can bring any outfits you want. I’m serious. These photos are for you, and you should wear what makes you feel confident and badass.
Some boudoir outfit ideas that aren’t lingerie:
Cute dress
Swimsuit
Your favorite shirt
Your partner’s favorite shirt
Your team’s jersey
Cozy sweater
Pajamas

Jewelry
Feel free to bring some jewelry if you’d like. For bridal boudoir photo sessions, most women bring their wedding jewelry.
Some women bring body jewelry too!
Shoes
You can also bring shoes to match your boudoir outfits!
Stilettos, cowboy boots, sneakers: if you’ve got some kicks that match the fit, bring them along!

In addition to jewelry and shoes, you may want other accessories or even props.
A woman in the studio last week brought her beloved leather jacket. You could bring flowers to go with a spring like outfit, cozy socks and a beanie for something more wintry. If you’re a reader, you may want some photos curled up in bed with a book. You may want a basketball to pose with your Lakers jersey.
Bring whatever you’d like to your boudoir session. This experience is for YOU.
