Bradford Wedding reception for Lisa & Josh

The Bradford wedding venue is just outside of Raleigh, in New Hill, NC and it was the perfect backdrop for Lisa & Josh’s reception this past weekend. You may remember these two from their intimate, COVID-safe, December wedding in Lisa’s dad’s backyard. Now that vaccines are out in the wild, they were ready to celebrate their nuptials with the friends & family who couldn’t be there in person in December.

We started with a first look in the Bradford’s courtyard and then had group photos inside the air-conditioned ballroom. Friday was a hot one y’all.

Lisa & Josh’s neighbor MADE this dress. And it’s got great twirl action – 5 stars.

I love when we can knock out group photos early and our couples get to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests

Here we’ve got two Kivus & Camera brides making sure they’ve stretched properly before hitting the dance floor!

Kelsey from C&D events had the Bradford ballroom looking great for dinner and dancing (and donuts, maybe the most important of the three Ds?).

These two know how to make an entrance 🙂

For their first dance I wanted to bring a little bit of the outside in.

And with multiple shooters, we could still get those nice close ups, while I was crouching outside for the creative reflection shot.

After their first dance, their adorable nephew Vincent helped get the party started.

Some champion frolicking went down during golden hour. Josh’s suit jacket didn’t get quite as much twirl as Lisa’s dress, but good effort sir.

Back inside with DJ Harlem to dance the night away in celebration!! I ALWAYS love an impromptu beer bottle microphone, so kudos to that wedding guest.

And a bit of warm twinklelight love to end the evening. I so completely wish COVID had never happened and couples like Lisa & Josh could have had Plan A, but I have to say, navigating the craziness with them (and having two weddings) was as great as it could have possibly been!!
