Love is fun & colorful.
Your wedding photos should be too.
Bailey & Paul’s Fred Fletcher Park wedding had plenty of new to me features. It was my first Tuesday wedding. Bailey’s custom dress included embroidery that she’d drawn herself, which was (a) definitely something I’ve never seen before, and (b) positively BEAUTIFUL! But, most interestingly, I didn’t get the chance to meet or even talk to either Bailey or Paul before the wedding day.
All of my pre-wedding communication was with Bailey’s mom Carolyn, who did an amazing job pulling together a wedding while the couple continued their day to day life in teaching in Korea. Any calls to discuss wedding planning would inevitably be at an ungodly hour for either Carolyn or Bailey, part of the wedding planning included how to best deal with jet lag, and to top it all off, the couple and their closest family would be headed to RDU Airport to get on a plane to Mexico less than 8 hours after the bubble exit.
That’s right. They had their bubble exit, broke things down at Fred Fletcher Park, got a couple hours of sleep (maybe?), and headed to the airport for a 5am flight to Mexico. Everyone was headed to Mexico to see the couple get married (again) on a beach, which was the dream ceremony. The Fred Fletcher Park wedding was the legal one, and also the one that allowed more people to come and wish the happy couple well.
All in all, it was a wonderful day, and I’m thrilled I was able to be there to capture their love. Happy one week anniversary y’all! Hope Mexico was amazing!
