COMFY COZY BOUDOIR

One of my favorite boudoir outfit options for Triangle Boudoir gorgeous badasses is what I call the comfy, cozy look.

Beginning a boudoir session with an outfit like this is the best way to ease into something that may be a bit out of your comfort zone. Being nearly naked in front of a camera? Intimidating for many people. Wearing a loose sweater, your favorite pjs, or a shirt? Easier to imagine, right?

I always encourage having at least one comfy, cozy boudoir outfit to kick things off, but you could absolutely have all your outfits fit this vibe (or none).

THE BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE IS FIRST AND FOREMOST FOR YOU.

I want you to have fun and feel amazing. If lingerie is absolutely NOT your thing, don’t bring any lingerie. Boudoir does not equal lingerie. If you want to bring all comfy, cozy looks, go for it. This post details just a few variations on the comfy, cozy look for you to get inspired.

Comfy, cozy outfit variation 1: The Sweater

A sweater is a great way to warm up (pun definitely intended) and get comfortable at the start of your boudoir session. You’re more covered up which many women find makes it easier to get used to the camera.

Comfy, cozy outfit variation 2: The pjs!

Below you’ll see a gorgeous badass in a spaghetti strap nightie and another in a silky pajama set, but any pjs are welcome at the studio. Victorian dressing gown? Hell yes. T-shirt and cotton undies? For sure!

Comfy, Cozy outfit variation 3: The button down

One of the most popular versions of the comfy, cozy look is the loose button down. Bring your own or raid your partner’s closet! There are so many great poses we can achieve with a button down and other open front shirts/jackets!

Comfy, Cozy outfit variation 4: The robe

If a soft or lacy or silky robe is more your style than a button-down, bring one along. It presents similar posing opportunities as the button down!

Comfy, cozy variation 5: The t-shirt and/or jersey

I love a graphic t-shirt, and if you do too, grab your favorite for your boudoir session. Layering a comfy tee over a cute set is a perfect outfit that shows off your personality!

The same applies to jerseys too! Rep your favorite team at your boudoir session!!
