Chapel Hill Engagement – Annalise & Stephen

This couple was one of the winners of our holiday engagement session giveaway, and we couldn’t have wished for better clients. Annalise & Stephen are complete sweethearts who are also very sweet on one another. They are a pair of attorneys who met in law school at UNC-Chapel Hill (just like John and I), but we tried not to talk too much shop during their engagement session. Here are some of our favorites from the beautiful day.

Let’s start with a mandatory Davie Poplar kiss!

What’s one way to make me even *more* excited than I already am for your engagement session? Ask if you can bring your dog. The answer will most assuredly be yes. I love having four legged companions crash our sessions, and Bogue here was a natural.

After some shots around the Davie Poplar and the Old Well, we headed to UNC’s arboretum, where the light was dreamy, and some of the flowers were in bloom – yes, even in February.

Then we headed to one of Annalise & Stephen’s favorite spots: the UNC disc golf course. Given my coordination (read: complete lack thereof), I’ve never played disc golf, but even though it had rained that week, there were people out enjoying the slightly muddy course. We didn’t play any rounds, but Bogue lucked out and got some frisbee fetch in with Stephen.

Did I mention earlier how wonderful Bogue was? Annalise wanted to get a picture of her engagement ring with him and he was PERFECT! Look at how loving those eyes are.

I do love a good sunburst and the day was gorgeous, so we of course ended the afternoon with some sunset shots. Here’s Bogue saying goodbye with his people.
