Are you looking for the best wedding venue in Durham, North Carolina? Well, don’t tell the other venues, but The Cotton Room is maybe my favorite venue for weddings anywhere. I love the brick, industrial look, with high ceilings and giant windows.
The Cotton Room is located in the Golden Belt campus in Durham, NC. It used to be a textile mill. When sunshine comes through the giant windows this place positively glows. And this wedding venue is HUGE.
This gorgeous NC wedding venue can accommodate over 400 if you want. But if you’re having a smaller wedding, don’t be intimidated. It looks just as lovely with under 100 guests with some lounge areas.
There are so many good spots for photos both inside The Cotton Room, and in the surrounding areas of Golden Belt. The getting ready suites for you and your partner are spacious and feature everything you’d need. You can catch a glimpse of my favorite wall in several of the photos here. The blue and gold wallpaper in The Magnolia Suite is the perfect backdrop for your wedding prep, and for hanging out with your VIPs.
The team is also excellent to work with, and that’s an important part of having a fun and smooth wedding day.
