These two met in Chapel Hill and though they’ve lived all over the globe, headed back to Chapel Hill to tie the knot. And let me tell you, as someone who has known them since they started dating, Erica and Andy are: Soul. Mates. I can’t even begin to describe how perfect they are for each other. They’ve grown together and helped one another become their best selves. That’s one of the most important things in a relationship – something that I value in my own marriage – and Erica and Andy have achieved it and continue to grow together.
Also, I am so behind on blogging and these two got married summer 2016, but I needed to blog this wedding because I always love a Carolina Inn wedding (I mean, my blood runs Carolina Blue), and these are some gorgeous shots from this Chapel Hill wedding!
Okay, first how cute is that puzzle? Since Erica and Andy have both travelled extensively, Erica’s bridesmaids got her this globe puzzle as a gift. Next are some details showcasing Erica’s color scheme, which the ladies at Happily Ever After and Knots ‘n Such pulled together beautifully!!
Y’all Erica has the most infectious smiles. I have thought this forever and I’m so thrilled plenty came out on her wedding day. Look at the joy that radiates! Getting ready with her girls, sneaking up on Andy for the first look, happy hugs. She should teach smiling lessons 🙂
After the first look, we set up at the Old Well for the Ketubah signing, as they were incorporating several Jewish traditions into the wedding day. Immediate family, bridal party, and witnesses gathered around the bride and groom and Rabbi for the signing of the marriage contract. We obviously followed that up with some bridal party portraits at the best Chapel Hill landmark.
Back at the Carolina Inn, Erica and Andy welcomed the rest of their guests for the ceremony in the Bryan Courtyard, under a stunning chuppah from Knots ‘n Such.
Party time y’all! I love love love enthusiastic, colorful receptions and these guys did not let me down. Check out everyone tearing the dance floor up!! Obviously, Erica and Andy saved the last dance for each other.
Finally, Erica and Andy capped their day off with a bubble exit and a little singing of Hark the Sound.
