To kick off their Durham engagement photography session, we met Laura & Andy at the house they’ll be moving into later this year (knock on wood). Andy’s a contractor, and he’s breathing new life into a sweet little house in one of Durham’s historic districts. The day we met was actually a bit of a celebratory day because they’d just been cleared by the city for the planned additions. As you’ll see in the images, work was just beginning when we met back in April, and the goal is to have the house ready for their wedding in November. After a checking in on the house, we hit up some of downtown Durham – saying hi to Major the Bull. We ended the night with an epic sunset seen from one of my favorite parking garages before heading over to American Tobacco Campus for burgers and beers. Yum.
