What on earth is Elyssa Explains?

(tl;dr: It’s a way to trick myself into blogging)

 

Guess what I haven’t done much of this year! Blogging. It’s the easiest thing to put off because my priority is always focusing on our clients by:

 

This is undoubtedly a mistake, but I’ve never seen blogging as a way to help our clients, more as a necessary evil related to SEO and all that jazz. My goal is to use the Elyssa Explains series as a way to combine blogging and my desire to only do things that directly help our clients (because I love you guys). The Elyssa Explains series will include helpful information for those of you planning weddings, needing headshots, getting ready to propose, et cetera et cetera. There might be some Elyssa Explains random stuff or big life questions.

 

The bottom line is that I’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do. I’ve got a few posts in the pipeline already, but I’ll also be reaching out to our past brides and grooms to get some insight about what they wish they’d known. Feel free to send me a message if you have a question/idea for something to be explained.

 

 

The above expression is on my face fairly often, so how I’m going to explain anything is still up in the air. But I gotta put my law degree to use somehow, and at the end of the day, one primary skill of a good lawyer is explaining the law. Photography stuff is way more fun than law. So, I’ll use my skills – I *do* have some skills – to explain that.
