Game of Thrones Wedding Inspiration – featured on Offbeat Bride!

I’m way behind on sharing that this Game of Thrones wedding styled shoot we did in the fall was featured on Offbeat Bride. I managed to get it out on social and help share, but I hadn’t brought it to the blog party. Anyway, here are a couple of my favorite shots, but be sure to go read the whole Offbeat Bride post! 

This was a really interesting experience for me as a diehard ASOIAF fan. Much of what we worked into the storyline for our shoot makes no sense from the book perspective – even if Ygritte survived to marry Jon, why on earth would Lannisters and Targaryens be in her wedding party? – but I got over those inconsistencies and it was fun anyway. AND THERE WAS A PUPPY. Look at that precious “direwolf.” If you’re a nerdy couple looking to incorporate some elements from the best book series of all time, here’s some inspiration (also hire us to photograph your wedding!!!! – we love nerdy weddings!!!! ) 😀
