Everyone knows rain on your wedding day is good luck, but do you know why? I got to share the reason at this rainy elopement in Durham this past weekend. The reason is that you’re tying the knot, and, as any good sailor knows, a wet knot is incredibly strong and difficult to untie.

J & K didn’t let the drizzle (or the chill) dampen their elopement day. They’ll have a big party with their friends and family in Baltimore next year, but for now, just a sweet ceremony with J’s aunt and uncle as witnesses:
