Raleigh Wedding Officiants

Raleigh wedding officiant guide from Kivus & Camera

Who should be the officiant for your Raleigh wedding?

In North Carolina, the wedding officiant is the one who leads the wedding ceremony and makes the marriage legal. You’ll also need 2 witnesses to sign the license. Since the officiant plays a pivotal role in the wedding ceremony, this person could be part of some of your favorite wedding day memories. Don’t leave this decision to the last minute.

If you’re getting married at a church or temple, choosing an officiant may be simple. Regardless of where your ceremony is, in North Carolina, you need to have a qualified officiant. You can read more about North Carolina marriage requirements here. If you’re thinking you want a friend or family member to officiate, I definitely recommend checking out those requirements.

There are plenty of professional officiants though! The people I’m including will take the time to get to know the two of you and make sure the wedding ceremony is what you want. They will help you construct a wedding ceremony is meaningful and memorable! All of these folks are LGBTQ friendly!
