Kivus & Camera Wedding Vendor Guide
The best wedding vendors in the Raleigh area.
All LGBTQ celebratory!
First, a few words about budgeting…
What is the average cost to get married in Raleigh?
The average wedding budget in Raleigh for a 100 guest wedding is somewhere between $30,000 and $40,000. And that doesn’t necessarily include the costs for attire, lodging, rehearsal dinners, or other events. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “you get what you pay for” and that is very true when it comes to wedding venues and vendors. It’s good to think of your priorities so you know where to splurge and where to save. My friends at Heart of NC Weddings do great budget breakdowns too!
And while we’re at it, when is the best time to get married in Raleigh?
Raleigh wedding season aligns with Raleigh’s “pleasant to be outside” season. The most popular month is October, followed by May, April, September, early June and early November. Summers are quite hot, but indoor weddings are a great option for those months as well as the winter months. Read more here.

Best wedding hair and makeup artists
If you’re going to have your hair and makeup done for your wedding day, you should put yourself in good hands. These teams are great. Even if you’re a rarely-wear-makeup person, they can give you the perfect subtle wedding day look and you’ll still feel like yourself. Or go full glam – they can do that too!

Best wedding florists
Florals!! You can do neutrals, you can do bright color pops, you can be minimal with bud vases, you can have florals dangling from the ceiling and covering every surface. The options for wedding flowers are limitless.

Best wedding caterers
Food is life y’all. And you have to fuel for the dance floor. Having great food is also a wonderful way of saying thank you to your guests.

Best wedding desserts!
I thought about putting dessert ahead of catering, because dessert is one of the best aspects of a wedding. There’s so much more than wedding cake now! Wedding pie, wedding donuts, wedding ice cream, whatever your heart desires.

Best wedding officiants
The officiant is the one who makes it legal, and they play a pivotal part in what could be the most emotional moments on your wedding day.

Our favorite videographers to work with!
For me to recommend a videographer, I have to know that in addition to being professionals who deliver a good product, they will be a kind team player on the wedding day. Teamwork makes the dreamwork.
My favorite videographers to work with are Jon Warlick Media, Twenty-One Films, Bovara Studios, and Oak City Films.
