Becky & Ryan’s Merry Hill Farm Wedding – NC Photographers

***Kivus & Camera still has dates available for 2017 Weddings! John & I would love to be the ones to photograph your wedding – contact us to check our availability***

Today I’m sharing Becky and Ryan’s perfectly detailed and stylized Merry Hill farm wedding.

(By the way, I’ve been the absolute worst at blogging our amazing weddings this year, but I’m going to make up for it in the next few weeks. Rest assured all of these awesome couples got their photos ages ago, and I did manage to share some of my favorites on our Facebook page. I miss writing about our fantastic couples though, so I’m belatedly blogging weddings from earlier this year.)

Right off the bat how adorable are these two?

Merry Hill is a gorgeous venue in Mebane, NC – not too far from Raleigh and Chapel Hill. The farm house has an upstairs that’s perfect for bride prep and a “groom’s shack” for the fellas to get ready in.

Story time: Ryan got all his groomsmen bowties as a groomsmen gift, except Ryan was the only one there who knew how to tie a bowtie. Hilarity ensued. Tying bowties is complicated y’all.

I love matching or coordinating robe sets for bridesmaids! The pink peacock ones match Merry Hill perfectly.

Isn’t Becky a stunning bride? If you want to see more of this beauty, stay tuned for when I share her bridal portraits from our Raleigh session. In the meantime, check out their N.C. State engagement session photos!

I love when couples decide on a first look. It’s such a sweet moment, always full of emotion. I think Becky & Ryan’s personalities and love shone through during their first look on the balcony at Merry Hill.

Merry Hill is such an awesome venue, y’all. Among your wedding guests will be the resident cat (he’s very fluffy), wandering peacocks, and beautiful horses that will come up to the fence for some attention. The farmhouse makes for a gorgeous ceremony backdrop too. I love the porches and the columns.

For a summer North Carolina wedding, the weather could not have been more beautiful!

Becky & Ryan’s wedding favor for their guests were these awesome sunglasses with their names and wedding date printed on the arms. Not only did the glasses come in handy for guests during the ceremony, but it gave Becky & Ryan an extra level of awesome to work with in some quick portraits.

Time to talk about their amazing details. These two were planning their wedding while preparing for Ryan’s graduation from N.C. State and subsequent move to Florida for his first Air Force assignment. Needless to say they were pretty busy and didn’t have a lot of time to spending on DIY items themselves. Their family and friends came to the rescue in fantastic fashion though and one family friend in particular took on a huge amount of the wedding planning. I told her she needs to be a coordinator, because look at how precious all of these details are!

Don’t think I forgot about the peacocks! They made an appearance at the reception, and even crashed the cornhole tournament.

Merry Hill has a great bonfire area, where Becky & Ryan had set up the ingredients for their guests to enjoy s’mores! We also used the bonfire for some pretty sunset portraits of the newlyweds:
