All Saints Chapel is one my favorite Raleigh venues. It’s so pretty!! Claire & Greg fell in love with it too, Claire especially, because it reminded her of little chapels back in England. Not only was Claire born in England, but she loves Pride & Prejudice and her new husband Greg quoted Mr. Darcy in his vows. I really do think Claire looks like she stepped out of an Austen novel. Perfection! Greg looks pretty good too. And the day itself was beautiful. The skies were a clear blue, and there was a nice crispness in the air, with fall colors popping all over the place.
It’s not a Kivus & Camera wedding if there isn’t a good party, and Claire & Greg’s guests did not disappoint. The dance floor was multigenerational and super energetic. People flew from across the globe for this wedding, and, as one guest told me, they wanted to make the most of it. Combine that awesome attitude with the planning from Michelle at Magnolia and Grace and the music from Randy with Bunn DJ Company, and I know this wedding was everything Claire & Greg wished for.

And then John & I captured the following memories:
Greg is an Apple fan, and I love that John included his Apple Watch in this shot.
Greg and his groomsmen got ready at his and Claire’s house, which meant John was able to see that awesome wedding countdown. And can we talk about how cute these two are calling each other on the wedding morning?!
Claire, her mom, and her bridesmaids were down the road in an AirBNB.
Team flats!!! And, again, I just want to reiterate how perfect Claire’s dress is for her.
The Chanel and Jimmy Johns was too good of a combo to pass by. And this moment of everyone taking Claire’s photo was fantastic too.
We met the guys at All Saints Chapel for a first look and some wedding party photos.
Do you think they like each other? I LOVE first looks so much. Those faces and that emotion.
After we knocked out the standard smiling wedding party shots, it was time to get funky (funky). I love when the couple’s friends aren’t afraid to be a little goofy.
There’s not a lot of foliage around All Saints, but we managed to find some spots of fall colors and snagged these portraits of the almost-weds.
Claire’s bouquet featured her grandmother and brother.
We headed back into All Saints Chapel for some more dramatic portraits. I love that stained glass (and its light scattering).
Then it was ceremony time. There’s that perfect Mr. Darcy quote.
Claire & Greg’s mothers started the ceremony by lighting individual candles for the couple to use to light their unity candle.
The reception kicked off with their first dance as husband and wife, along with a welcome from Claire’s father.
While people ate, the flower girls did their best whirling dervishes.
Then it was time for toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man, and a thank you from the couple to all of their loved ones.
Parent dances are my favorite…
… but I also really love party time.
And this party was a good one. Whether you were 2 or 80, you were on the dance floor.
DJ Randy kept the party going while we snuck out for a quick night portrait. After, there was time for a few more dances before the setup for sparklers.
While everyone else headed outside to get in line for sparklers, the newlyweds shared a private last dance. LOVE!
And that’s a wrap. Kisses under the orange glow of sparklers is the perfect cap to a perfect day.
We believe that love is bright and colorful and your wedding photographs should be bright and colorful too.
