Jacky & Ashton’s Barn at Valhalla wedding in Chapel Hill

These two just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary, so I figured it was about time I blogged their awesome Barn at Valhalla Wedding. I *did* blog their engagement session in a more timely manner. 

Anyway, Barn at Valhalla is an awesome venue. You can get the whole space for the weekend, which includes places to sleep, a hot tub, a great field for ultimate frisbee (or whatever floats your boat), and, during Jacky & Ashton’s wedding weekend, baby geese. The grounds are beautiful and provide plenty of ceremony location options. Jacky & Ashton chose to have the ceremony in the main building with a gorgeous picture window, which allowed for pretty views in combination with air conditioning (necessary in North Carolina summers). The barn was perfect for toasts and dancing, of which there was plenty during the reception.
