Laura & Charlie’s North Carolina Fall Engagement Session

Spoiler alert: kitties at the end of the post!

Laura & Charlie wanted to incorporate fall colors into their engagement session and I think we nailed it! We met at Lake Crabtree Park earlier this week, and even though the colors have seemed late in coming this year, and even though it was a in the 70s in November, we found those reds and yellows and loved it.

After playing in leaves for a bit, we headed back to Laura & Charlie’s house to get the full family involved. I heard about Buddy, the one-eared tomcat, when John & I met Laura & Charlie for beers at Sam’s, but tiny Wednesday just got adopted into the family this week. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t comment on the fact that they live in the house with the red door. I didn’t see a lemon tree though. (SORRY. My ASOIAF obsession runs deep y’all.)

Also, though I’ve photographed plenty of dogs at engagement sessions, this week included my first kitties (Dany with Stephanie & Roscoe, and then these two). More please! And here’s to getting more amazing fall colors at Laura & Charlie’s wedding in just under a year!
