Arielle & Gage’s Jewish wedding in Durham, North Carolina

How gorgeous is that yarmulke up there? The colors in the embroidery for Arielle & Gage’s custom yarmulkes for their Jewish wedding ceremony matched the beautiful jewel tones throughout Cotton Room. Sumptuous velvets adorned the venue and their guests as well. And check out the florals from Petal & Oak climbing the chuppah! The colors you’ll see throughout this wedding day made my heart sing!!

Another custom feature at this Durham, NC Jewish wedding was the couple’s tallit which was embroidered with trees representing the joining of their lives and families. The way Gage looked at Arielle as they were wrapped in the prayer shawl was all anyone needed to see to know this love is an epic one.

My favorite part of any Jewish wedding (or b’nei mitzvah) is the hora. And i love when there’s a bit of hora chaos. Now obviously, I don’t want anyone falling from a chair but with the circles circling, someone is bound to trip and end up laughing on the floor. On this day it was the bride. Luckily, she rebounded with joy and continued to party through the evening.
