Cotton Room Wedding – Leslie & Sean

Do y’all remember Leslie & Sean? With their house divided engagement session? They followed that fun session up with an even more fun wedding at The Cotton Room.

Lovely autumnal colors for their early October wedding. BTW Leslie’s wedding perfume smelled so good!!

Sean’s sister was his best man and she was fantastic at the job! I adore this shot John got of her helping him get his jacket on.

Above, we’ve got Leslie having a hysterical moment as her sorority sister tries to put their pin in the dress. Around the same time, Sean was having a thread trimmed off his jacket. Be careful out there y’all. All sorts of sharp things are around on wedding days!

Leslie & Sean wrote one another letters to read before they saw each other at their first look.

After some time for them to bask in one another’s presence, we headed outside for a few pre-ceremony portraits.

The rose petals lining the aisle were perfection!

Out of the ceremony and into the reception!

I love an emotional maid of honor toast! A funny best “man” one is great too!

You may be familiar with the shoe game, where someone asks questions like “who’s the better driver?” or “who is the messy one?”, and then the couple, sitting back to back, raise a shoe belonging to the appropriate person. Laughter ensues when guests don’t expect a certain answer. Gasps of “OOOOOOH” can be heard when they disagree. It’s a fun time.

Leslie & Sean took it up a notch, with each of them holding a Duke logo (representing Sean) and a Carolina logo (representing Leslie). Go Heels!!!

The bride passed out some foam glow sticks and the party got going!!

I don’t think Leslie left the floor for more than a minute or two here and there. Sean did though, since his buddies had brought celebratory cigars.

For the penultimate song, their friends surrounded them, and then the newlyweds had a private last dance while everyone else got ready for their sparkler exit.
